Refund Policy

Last updated 24 August 2026

This policy explains when you can get your money back, how to cancel, and how trials convert. It applies to every subscription bought from Owely, operated by Driftwave Labs, LLC.

1. Who charges you

Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record for every purchase. Paddle handles the transaction, taxes and invoicing, and appears on your bank or card statement rather than Owely. We never see or store your card details.

2. The 14-day refund

Write to us within 14 days of a charge and we refund it in full. That applies to every plan, including a renewal you did not mean to keep. Email [email protected] from the address on the account and tell us which charge you mean.

Refunds go back to the payment method you used. Paddle normally returns the money within 5–10 business days — the exact timing is your bank’s, not ours.

After those 14 days, a charge is final and is not refunded. The window runs from each individual charge — every renewal starts its own 14 days — but once it closes, that payment can no longer be returned. If you no longer want the service, cancel instead (section 5): you keep access to the end of the period you paid for.

3. Trials, and what happens when they end

The trial costs $1 for 3 days. Unless you cancel before it ends, it converts automatically to the full plan at $39.99 every quarter, and renews at that price until you cancel. You can cancel at any point during the trial and you will not be charged the full price. The trial fee itself is covered by the 14-day refund above.

4. Renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. The period is whichever you chose at checkout — quarter, month, week. Prices are shown in your local currency where available, tax included; the exact amount is confirmed at checkout before you pay.

We give at least 30 days’ notice by email before any price increase, so you always have time to cancel first.

5. Cancelling

Cancel at any time from Settings → Billing. It takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for — you keep full access until then, and nothing you have made is deleted. There is no cancellation fee and you do not need to contact us to do it.

6. Your statutory rights

If you are a consumer in the EEA or the UK you have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. Nothing in this policy limits that right or any other right the law gives you.

7. Failed payments

If a payment fails we retry it and email you. Access may be paused until it succeeds. A subscription that stays unpaid is cancelled rather than sent to collections.
